I've been using the Blink Outdoor 2-Camera System for about 7 months now, and I must say, it's been a reliable and convenient security solution for my home. The camera's wire-free design and long-lasting battery life make it incredibly easy to set up and maintain. In terms of video storage, Blink offers two options. You can opt for cloud storage with a Blink Subscription Plan, which comes with a free 30-day trial. Alternatively, you can store videos locally by plugging a USB stick into the Sync Module 2. Personally, I've been using the local USB storage option, and it has worked flawlessly. Exporting videos from the USB stick is also a straightforward process if needed.

One of the standout features for me has been the exceptional battery life. Even with one of the cameras frequently used multiple times a day, I haven't had to change the batteries in the 7 months I've been using the system. It's truly impressive and a testament to the efficiency of the camera's power management.

While the camera's motion detection is generally reliable, I have noticed occasional false positive alerts when direct sunlight briefly hits the camera in the garden. However, this hasn't caused any significant issues for me and hasn't affected the camera's overall performance.

The app provides ample customization options for camera settings. You can adjust motion sensitivity and define specific detection zones, allowing you to exclude certain areas from motion detection. This flexibility ensures that the camera focuses on the areas that matter most to you.
